El presente trabajo intenta exponer avances en torno al trabajo de finalización de la carrera de Maestría en Pedagogía de la Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades en la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. La presente investigación de enfoque mixto y exploratorio tiene como objetivo responder al siguiente interrogante: ¿cómo los argumentos y construcciones de sentido acerca de lo que significa ser ético profesionalmente para los psicólogos, docentes en la Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, tienen relación con sus prácticas de enseñanza? Las representaciones sociales conjugan su carácter eminentemente social y su naturaleza individual y psicológica. Conciernen al “conocimiento espontáneo”, “ingenuo”, que tenemos. Este “saber de sentido común” se constituye a partir de nuestras experiencias, y de la información, conocimientos y modelos de pensamiento que construimos.Así, podemos afirmar de manera conclusiva que la representación que tienen de la ética se centra más en el secreto profesional que en otros aspectos (como docencia, investigación, relación entre colegas) que no sólo pertenecen a la esfera de lo clínico. El análisis de las representaciones que los psicólogos, como profesores universitarios, tienen sobre la ética puede ser un interesante aporte a la mejora de las prácticas de enseñanza en nivel superior. The present investigation of mixed and exploratory approach has like objective to answer to the following question: how the arguments and constructions of sense about what it means to be professionally ethical for the psychologists, teachers in the Faculty of Psychology of the National University of Córdoba, have relationship with their teaching practices? The social representations combine their eminently social nature and their individual and psychological nature. They concern “spontaneous knowledge”, “naive”, that we have. This “knowledge of common sense” is constituted from our experiences, and from the information, knowledge and thought models that we build. Thus, we can state conclusively that the representation they have of ethics focuses more on professional secrecy than on other aspects (such as teaching, research, relationship between colleagues) that not only belong to the clinical sphere. The analysis of the representations that psychologists, as university professors, have about ethics can be an interesting contribution to the improvement of teaching practices at a higher level.
