Las fotografías han tenido una gran importancia en el largo y penoso proceso de restitución de la identidad en personas apropiadas bajo la última dictadura militar argentina. No se trata de la fotografía como mero instrumento de reconocimiento, sino del valor de la imagen en tanto soporte de un orden simbólico que viene a restañar una herida en lo real. Por su parte, el cine se ha dedicado a plasmar el tema de la filiación a través de una amplia galería de películas. En cada una de ellas, el reconocimiento de una identidad enlaza la imagen con su registro en el cuerpo. Este trabajo trata de recuperar ese maravilloso detalle, otorgándole valor de dato clínico, a través de distintas fuentes: recortes de tratamientos a cargo del equipo de Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo, relatos de hijos de desaparecidos que pudieron recuperar el lazo con sus familias legítimas, y ficciones cinematográficas consagradas a retratar esa compleja trama de la filiación. La dialéctica entre la identidad y la identificación supone un ejercicio ético que se emparenta con el acto creador. Son esas perlas las que a través de los ejemplos propuestos nos ponen sobre la pista del hallazgo teórico. It is not about photography as a mere instrument of recognition, but about the value of the image as a support for a symbolic order that comes to staunch a wound on the real. For its part, the cinema has dedicated itself to reflect the theme of filiation through a wide gallery of films. In each of them, the recognition of an identity links the image with its support in the body. This work tries to recover that wonderful detail, granting it clinical data value through different sources: cuts of treatments conducted by the team of Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo, stories of children of disappeared who could recover the bond with their legitimate families, and cinematographic fictions devoted to portraying that complex plot of filiation.The dialectic between identity and identification is an ethical exercise that is related to the creative act.
