El presente trabajo se enmarca en la investigación “Percepción del Trabajo Decente y su relación con la construcción de anticipaciones de futuro en trabajadores: un estudio internacional comparativo” para la que se realizaron diez entrevistas en profundidad con jóvenes de entre 21 y 25 años de ambos sexos residentes en el AMBA que se hallaban en situación de vulnerabilidad social. En esta oportunidad, decidimos presentar los relatos de las cuatro mujeres entrevistadas, focalizando en la relación entre los espacios privado y público, y en sus modos de posicionarse y vincularse en el hogar y el trabajo. Desde un enfoque narrativo y sosteniendo una perspectiva holística, se analizan las articulaciones entre los determinantes materiales y los atravesamientos culturales que impactan en su construcción simbólica como mujeres, madres, estudiantes y trabajadoras, generando diferentes posicionamientos subjetivos. Los enfoques teóricos y de intervención de la Psicología de la Orientación permiten abordar la complejidad de las diferentes inserciones que las personas realizan. En este sentido, nuestro aporte contribuirá a ampliar el conocimiento sobre la relación de las mujeres con el trabajo, visibilizando el peso de las historias personales y los contextos en la construcción de las trayectorias biográficas y las anticipaciones de futuro.
