En el ámbito de la movilidad urbana, el transporte público de pasajerxs es un foco constante en el que acontecen situaciones de acoso sexual y/o violencia de género. De este modo, la libertad de movilidad de las mujeres se ve restringida, lo que afecta su percepción de seguridad, su capacidad de movilidad y sus oportunidades de desarrollo. Se trata de un estudio exploratorio descriptivo que indaga y describe las situaciones más frecuentes de acoso y las barreras de involucramiento de otros pasajerxs al momento de presenciar dichas situaciones. Se trabajó con una muestra de 250 usuarixs frecuentes de las diferentes líneas ferroviarias del AMBA. Se realizaron observaciones estructuradas a bordo de los coches de las líneas y también encuestas a pasajerxs en diferentes horarios, días y estaciones (tomando de referencia las terminales cabeceras de mayor afluencia de personas). Se presentarán resultados preliminares del estudio tales como caracterización de las situaciones de acoso más frecuentes, respuestas y reacciones por parte de las víctimas, respuestas y reacciones por parte de observadorxs, barreras para el involucramiento frente a dichas situaciones, cantidad de denuncias realizadas, obstáculos para realización de denuncias, entre otros datos de relevancia. In this way, the freedom of mobility of women is restricted, which affects their perception of security, their capacity for mobility and their opportunities for development. This is a descriptive, exploratory study that investigates and describes the most frequent situations of harassment and the barriers to involvement of other passengers when witnessing these situations. We worked with a sample of 250 frequent users of the different railway lines of the AMBA. Structured observations were carried out on board the cars of the lines and also passenger surveys at different times, days and seasons (taking as reference the main terminals with the highest influx of people). Preliminary results of the study will be presented, such as characterization of the most frequent situations of harassment, responses and reactions by victims, responses and reactions by observers, barriers to involvement in these situations, number of complaints made, obstacles to making complaints, among other relevant data.
