El presente trabajo es un extracto de tesis de maestría en clínica psicoanalítica de la Universidad Nacional de San Martín. Desde los inicios del psicoanálisis, el concepto de inconsciente ha tenido carácter transversal, fue incluido en muchos momentos de su historia como parte esencial de su cuerpo teórico y de su praxis clínica, hasta hoy. Es en torno a éste que Freud desarrolló sus primeras investigaciones a finales del siglo XIX y todos sus discípulos, de un modo u otro, continuaron con sus diferentes conceptualizaciones y perspectivas, entre ellos Lacan, desde el comienzo de sus seminarios. En uno de sus primeros desarrollos, Freud dirá que entre el inconsciente y el chiste existe algún tipo de relación. Chiste, humor, agudeza, son traducciones posibles al término freudiano witz. Si el chiste toca algo de la pulsión y apunta al sinsentido, y al inconsciente solo accedemos por sus formaciones, ¿Cuál es el papel de las intervenciones realizadas a partir del chiste? ¿Cómo puede articularse esto con la interpretación analítica? ¿Cómo puede pensarse el fin de análisis desde la perspectiva del witz? Palabras clave Chiste - Witz - Pase - Inconsciente ABSTRACT FROM THE FREUDIAN WITZ TO THE PASSAGE AS A WITZ: A READING FROM THE ENDING OF THE ANALYSIS The present work is an extract from a master’s degree thesis in clinical psychoanalysis from the National University of San Martín. Since the beginning of psychoanalysis, the concept of the unconscious has had a transversal character, it was included at many moments in its history as an essential part of its theoretical body and its clinical praxis, until today. It is around this that Freud developed his first research at the end of the 19th century and all of his disciples, in one way or another, continued with his different conceptualizations and perspectives, including Lacan, from the beginning of his seminars. In one of his first developments, Freud exposes that between the unconscious and witz there is some type of relationship. Joke, humor, wit, are possible translations to the Freudian term witz. If the witz touches something of the pulsion and points to meaninglessness, and we only access to the unconscious through its formations, what is the role of the interventions made from the witz?
