Consideramos que se vuelve fundamental y prioritario un estudio que atienda a las coordenadas epocales y su incidencia en la subjetividad actual. Si hablamos del sujeto, hablamos del cuerpo que tiene. Se impone así una pregunta ética ¿Cuál es el estatuto que asume el cuerpo humano hoy? El impacto de las nuevas tecnologías, el avance de la técnica y su relación con el poder sobre el uso del cuerpo, generan innumerables debates desde diversos campos. En este sentido, intentaremos aproximarnos a las nuevas prácticas para dilucidar dicho estatuto sirviéndonos de los aportes provenientes del campo psicoanalítico.
