El presente trabajo representa un estudio de tesis de la Licenciatura en Psicología de la Universidad de Buenos Aires defendida y aprobada en el año 2015. El objetivo es conocer si el modelo teórico Psicoanalítico forma parte de la representación social vinculada a la Psicología del Deporte en la Argentina produciendo una distorsión desfavorable para el rol. Se realizó un estudio no experimental, descriptivo, comparativo y transversal. Para ello se ha producido un cuestionario estructurado, auto-administrable e intermediado por TICs a partir del cual se ha realizado un análisis cuantitativo sobre el total de la muestra y submuestras conformadas por estudiantes y no estudiantes de psicología. Se obtuvo una muestra conformada por 681 participantes residentes de la República de Argentina. A partir del estudio realizado se concluye que la Representación Social de la Psicología del Deporte en la Argentina se manifiesta con un contenido heterogéneo y desarrollado desde el desconocimiento.Además no se encuentra fuertemente vinculada al Psicoanálisis, aunque distorsiona el rol del Psicólogo del Deporte. En este marco se propone como fundamental la Psicoeducación como primer herramienta de intervención. The aim is to determine whether the Psychoanalytic theoretical model is part of the social representation linked to the Psychology of Sport in Argentina producing an unfavorable distortion for the role. The thesis consisted on a non experimental, descriptive, comparative and cross-sectional study. For this there has been a self- manageable , structured questionnaire and brokered by ICT from which was made a quantitative analysis of the total sample and subsamples made ??up of students and non-students of psychology. The sample consisted on 681 participants residents of the Republic of Argentina. From the study it made it is concluded that the Social Representation of Sport Psychology in Argentina presents with a heterogeneous content and developed from ignorance. In addition it is not strongly linked to psychoanalysis , but distorts the role of the sport psychologist .
