A partir del rol preventivo como psicólogos de la Dirección de Salud y Asistencia Social de la Universidad de Buenos Aires (Res. Nº 5074/12 CS) surge este estudio exploratorio acerca de los alumnos que migran desde el interior del país. En las entrevistas realizadas se hace evidente el importante impacto emocional que tiene dicho fenómeno para esta población. Se entiende que el cambio originado por la migración conlleva una separación de sus afectos, como también una modificación de sus hábitos. Por lo tanto, puede ser entendido como un duelo, y como tal deberá ser elaborado adecuadamente para lograr una buena adaptación al nuevo lugar, y alcanzar con éxito el objetivo que se han propuesto al migrar. Motiva el presente trabajo la observación de diversos indicadores que presentan los alumnos, y que en algunos casos persisten a lo largo del tiempo, obstaculizando la adaptación a la nueva ciudad. En los casos que el alumno no puede vincular los síntomas, emergentes de la técnica PERI o las entrevistas, con las dificultades para adaptarse, resulta necesario desde la perspectiva preventiva, mostrarle la relación entre ambos fenómenos y sugerir la realización de una consulta psicológica que les permita elaborar este duelo. The interviews make evident the importance of the emotional impact that such event has for this population.The change caused by the migration carries a separation from affections and also a modification of habits.Therefore,this can be understood as a mourning,and as such, it will have to be elaborated adequately in order to achieve a good adjustment to the new place, and reach successfully the objective they had proposed when they migrated. This work is motivated by the observation of different indicators that students show, and that in some cases persist throughout time interfering in the adjustment to the new place. In the cases students cannot link the symptoms, that emerge from the PERI technique or the interviews,with the difficulties to adapt, it is necessary, from a preventive perspective, to show them the relationship between both of them and suggest a psychological consult in order to elaborate this mourning.
