Este trabajo presenta el diseño metodológico implementado en la tesis de doctorado encuadrada en la Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, la cual se halla en estado de ser evaluada. La misma estuvo bajo la dirección de la Dra. María Cristina Chardon y tuvo como Consejera de Tesis a la Lic. Alicia Passalacqua. Este Estudio descriptivo exploratorio de la noción de buen docente de EGB tuvo como objetivos los siguientes: · ¿Cuáles son las distintas perspectivas de las representaciones de "buen docente" de EGB 1 y 2 ?; ¿cómo aparece el estereotipo de "buen docente" en la escena educativa? · ¿Cuáles son las características de singularidad de aquellos docentes seleccionados como "buenos"?; ¿cómo son, cómo piensan, qué les interesa?; ¿cómo se autoperciben?, ¿cómo son percibidos? · ¿Qué aspectos comunes y diferentes pueden identificarse entre las representaciones de "buen docente" y aquellos elegidos como tales? · ¿Existen especificidades en relación con el género de los docentes y con el nivel socioeconómico (NES) de los alumnos?; ¿se las puede vincular con las representaciones del "buen docente" y con las características de singularidad? Esta investigación adhirió al Paradigma de la Complejidad e implementó una metodología de integración de estrategias cualitativas y cuantitativas. This descriptive and exploratory study about the notion of a good teacher of EGB had the following objectives: _Which are the different perspectives about the representations of a "good teacher" of EGB 1 y 2 ? How does the good teacher stereotype appears in the cultural educational scene? • Which are the singularity characteristic of teachers chosen as "goods"?; How are they ? How they think ?; What are their interestings in?; How they perceive their self?; How they are perceived by others? • Which common and different aspects could identifier between the representation of "good teacher" and those the chosen as such ? • Are specification in relation with the sex of the teachers and with the pupils ´s socialeconomical level? -Is it possible to link this with the representation of the "good teacher" and with singularity characteristic? This investigation added to complexity paradigm and implemented a methodology of integration of qualitative and quantitative strategies. Key words Good teacher Representation
