Este artículo describe el cuestionario elaborado y utilizado en la Investigación "Trayectorias, inserción en contextos y construcción identitaria en los jóvenes" (Proyecto UBACyT 062) que desarrolla el Grupo de Investigación en Psicología de la Orientación (1). Se administró en el año 2005 a 1.380 jóvenes del último año de escuelas públicas de nivel medio de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Este instrumento metodológico indaga las áreas: Perfil familiar de los jóvenes, actividades del tiempo libre, contextos significativos, apoyo social, escuela, estudio, trabajo e identidad. Las preguntas fueron elaboradas después de una exhaustiva búsqueda bibliográfica sobre las temáticas mencionadas. Además, se tomaron en cuenta los hallazgos e inquietudes surgidos en estudios anteriores realizados por el equipo de investigación. El objetivo central de este cuestionario es analizar el sentido y significado que otorgan los jóvenes a sus experiencias educativas, laborales y de la vida cotidiana, en sus contextos de interacción. Los resultados están en su etapa de procesamiento. El diseño de este cuestionario permitió estudiar en una muestra argentina algunas pruebas utilizadas en contextos internacionales. El estudio de estas temáticas podrá ser insumo para actualizar marcos teóricos y técnicas en Orientación. Palabras clave Orientación Jóvenes Construcción identitaria Contextos ABSTRACT CONSTRUCTION OF A QUESTIONNAIRE FROM THE GUIDANCE PSYCHOLOGY PERSPECTIVE This article describes the questionnaire prepared and used by the research group of Vocational Psychology of the University of Buenos Aires (1) in their current research "Pathways, Insertion in Contexts and Identity Construction in Youth (UBACyT Project 062). 1.380 senior students from middle class public schools in the City of Buenos Aires answered it. This methodological instrument enquires into several areas of the young student’s life: family’s profile, free time activities, significant environments, social support, school, education, work experiences and their identity. The questions were carefully chosen after an exhaustive bibliographical research about these topics. In addition, discoveries and enquiries that emerged from previous investigations performed by this research group were taken in consideration. The central objective of this questionnaire is to analyze the importance and the meaning that the young students give to their education, work and daily life experiences in their environments of interaction. At present, the results are being processed. The designed of this questionnaire allowed the opportunity to study an Argentine sample using instruments with international background. The study of these subject matters could contribute to update theories and techniques in Guidance Psychology. Key words Guidance Youth Identity construction Contexts
