La violencia contra las mujeres es un flagelo ubicuo, mundial. En Argentina, la asignación del botón antipánico es una medida implementada por el Estado para la protección de las mujeres luego de una denuncia por violencia de género. Este estudio cuantitativo descriptivo, indaga acerca de la presencia de violencia secundaria o revictimización durante su uso. Se realizaron 18 encuestas a mujeres mayores de 18 años, usuarias del botón antipánico en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires entre enero 2022- enero 2023. Se exploraron los datos en relación a investigaciones previas, recursos legales, el modelo ecológico, el modelo cognitivo-conductual, la teoría de la indefensión aprendida, la ruta crítica transitada por las mujeres, la violencia institucional y la revictimización. Los reportes destacan problemas como falta de privacidad, demoras en la atención, fallas técnicas y cuestionamientos sobre su activación y devolución. Si bien cabe mencionar las limitaciones tanto de la muestra como del recorte geográfico de este estudio (aspectos relevantes a profundizar en próximas investigaciones en la temática), los resultados sugieren que las políticas públicas implementadas hasta el momento resultan en muchos casos insuficientes. Mejorar los sistemas de atención y dispositivos para prevenir la revictimización en esta población es una deuda pendiente. Palabras clave Violencia contra la mujer - Botón antipánico - Políticas públicas - Revictimización ABSTRACT AN APPROACH TO THE EXPERIENCES OF FEMALE USERS FROM THE CITY OF BUENOS AIRES REGARDING THE USE OF THE PANIC BUTTON AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH REVICTIMIZATION Violence against women is a ubiquitous, global scourge. In Argentina, providing a panic button is an action implemented by the State for the protection of women after filing a complaint of gender based violence. This quantitative descriptive study investigates the presence of secondary violence or revictimization during its use. Eighteen surveys were conducted on women over 18 years of age, users of the panic button in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires between January 2022- January 2023. Data were explored in relation to previous research, legal resources, the ecological model, the cognitive-behavioral model, the learned helplessness theory, the critical path followed by women, institutional violence and re-victimization. The reports highlight problems such as lack of privacy, delayed responses, technical failures, and questions about activation and return. Although it is worth mentioning the limitations of both the surveyed sample and the geographical scope of this study (relevant aspects to be deepened in future research on the subject), the results suggest that the public policies implemented to date are, in many cases, insufficient. Improving care systems and devices to prevent revictimization in this population is an outstanding debt. Keywords Violence against women - Panic button - Public policies - Revic-
