En la película “Lars y la chica real” (Gillespie, 2007) se evidencia una profunda transformación subjetiva. Al comienzo, nos presentan a un joven que, si bien se sostiene económicamente y está integrado socialmente, atraviesa un periodo de absoluto retraimiento frente a un mundo exterior que le resulta ajeno y hostil. Rápidamente nos enteramos de que Lars perdió a su madre durante el parto, y que el padre cumplió el rol de figura de sostén emocional mientras tramitaba su duelo, transitando una profunda depresión. Esta información permite comprender las dificultades de Lars para establecer contactos afectivos y el hecho de que estas dificultades se hayan exacerbado con el embarazo de su cuñada, que puede estar reeditando sus temores más profundos. Un buen día, Lars presenta a su familia una muñeca de tamaño real, a quien él considera su novia. La familia acude a una consulta. ¿Con qué hipótesis abordamos esta situación? ¿Con qué herramientas? La película nos obliga a preguntarnos por el lugar de la comunidad en las transiciones subjetivas. ¿Es posible transitar procesos que quedaron detenidos en su momento? Y si lo es, ¿cuáles serían las condiciones de posibilidad? At the beginning, the film presents a young man who, although he supports himself financially and is socially integrated, is going through a period of absolute withdrawal from an outside world that is alien and hostile to him. We learn that Lars lost his mother during childbirth, and that his father fulfilled the role of emotional support figure while he grieved, going through a deep depression. This information allows us to understand Lars’s difficulties in establishing affective contacts and the fact that these difficulties have been exacerbated by the pregnancy of his sister-in-law, which may be repeating his deepest fears. One fine day, Lars presents his family with a life-size doll, whom he considers to be his girlfriend. The family goes for a consultation. With what hypothesis do we approach this situation? With what tools? The film forces us to ask ourselves about the place of the community in subjective transitions. Is it possible to transit processes that were stopped at the time?
