INTRODUCCIÓN. Las inteligencias artificiales pueden ser beneficiosas para el aprendizaje universitario. Por ello, la opinión de los estudiantes es relevante. El procesamiento de lenguaje natural constituye una alternativa para este análisis. Se exploraron las opiniones de estudiantes universitarios sobre herramientas basadas en inteligencia artificial, como ChatGPT, y se analizaron argumentos comunes sobre ventajas y desventajas. OBJETIVO. Explorar la opinión de estudiantes de Psicología sobre el uso de ChatGPT en tareas académicas universitarias. METODOLOGÍA. Se utilizó un diseño exploratorio con una muestra final de 83 estudiantes. Los datos se recolectaron mediante un cuestionario virtual. A partir de las respuestas se realizó un análisis de sentimientos y se detectaron los argumentos más comunes. RESULTADOS. Se identificaron 4 clústeres en función de: la afinidad con ChatGPT, la edad, si trabajan y el uso de la herramienta. De los 4 clústeres, se destacan las opiniones positivas ya que dos clústeres suman 42 (50,6%) estudiantes y un clúster muy negativo con solo 4 (4,8%) estudiantes; el resto son 37 (44,6%) neutros. Se reportan los argumentos comunes sobre ventajas y desventajas. DISCUSIÓN. En general la opinión es positiva; los que tienen opiniones muy negativas son atípicos y nunca utilizaron ChatGPT. Se explicitan limitaciones de los resultados. To explore the opinion of Psychology students on the use of ChatGPT in university academic tasks. METHODOLOGY. An exploratory design was used with a final sample of 83 students. The data was collected through a virtual questionnaire. Based on the answers, a sentiment analysis was carried out and the most common arguments were detected. RESULTS. 4 clusters were identified based on: affinity with ChatGPT, age, whether they work and the use of the tool. Of the 4 clusters, the positive opinions stand out since two clusters add up to 42 (50.6%) students and a very negative cluster with only 4 (4.8%) students; the rest are 37 (44.6%) neutral. Common arguments about advantages and disadvantages are reported. DISCUSSION. In general the opinion is positive; those with very negative opinions are outliers and have never used ChatGPT.
