En este trabajo se presentará el análisis y las reflexiones acerca de las expectativas y desafíos que manifiestan jóvenes ingresantes a la UBA, que participaron de los talleres virtuales de orientación universitaria organizados por el Departamento de Orientación Vocacional de la UBA. Estos talleres, realizados previo al inicio del primer cuatrimestre 2023 del Ciclo Básico Común, tienen por objetivo brindarles a los/as ingresantes orientación y acompañamiento en sus comienzos en la universidad. Desde los enfoques actuales de la Psicología de la Orientación se plantea la importancia de situar las prácticas con abordajes psico-educativos, preventivos, holísticos y contextuales, reconociendo que el inicio de una carrera universitaria representa un momento de transición en la vida de los/as jóvenes, caracterizado por numerosos cambios a nivel subjetivo y social. A partir del análisis de las expectativas compartidas por los/as jóvenes en los talleres, se observa cómo la participación en este espacio les ha permitido identificar, narrar y articular sus perspectivas respecto a los próximos desafíos, compartiendo miradas y reflexionando acerca de posibles estrategias a diseñar. De esta manera, han logrado anticiparse, informarse y prepararse con más herramientas para ambientarse a la universidad, iniciar la cursada y desarrollar sus trayectorias educativas. Palabras clave Orientación universitaria - Ingresantes - Transición - Trayectoria educativa ABSTRACT REFLECTIONS ON THE EXPECTATIONS AND CHALLENGES OF NEW STUDENTS AT THE UBA WHO PARTICIPATED IN UNIVERSITY VIRTUAL ORIENTATION WORKSHOPS This work will present the analysis and reflections on expectations and challenges expressed by UBA´s young new students, who participated in the virtual university orientation workshops #BeingaUBAStudent, organized by the Department of Vocational Guidance of the UBA. These workshops, held prior to the start of the first semester of 2023 of the Common Basic Cycle, are intended to provide new students with guidance and support in their beginnings at the university. From the current approaches of Guidance Psychology, the importance of situating practices with psycho-educational, preventive, holistic and contextual perspectives is raised, recognizing that the beginning of a university career represents a transition in the life of young people, characterized by numerous changes at a subjective and a social level. Based on the analysis of expectations shared by young new students in the workshops, it is observed how participation in this virtual space has allowed them to identify, narrate and articulate their considerations regarding the upcoming challenges, sharing perceptions and reflecting on possible strategies to design. In this way, they have managed to anticipate, get information and prepare themselves with more tools to become familiar with the university, start their studies and develop their educational pathways.
