En el presente trabajo, inscripto en el marco de la investigación UBACyT: “Versiones del padre en el último período de la obra de Jacques Lacan (1971-1981)”, intentaremos esclarecer las razones del pasaje, en la enseñanza de Lacan, del singular de el Nombre del Padre al plural de los Nombres del Padre, situando los movimientos conceptuales de dicho pasaje. Haremos un recorrido desde la propuesta del S(A/) que produce el cuestionamiento del padre como universal hasta la elaboración de la teoría de los nudos, donde Lacan ubica la función del padre como función de anudamiento, sinthome. Desplegaremos en relación a estos lineamientos la función del padre enlazada a la nominación. Padre en tanto nombrante. NOT WITHOUT A REASON… In the present work,written in the frame of the UBACyT investigation “Versions of the father in the last period of Jacques Lacan works (1971-1981)” we will try to clarify the reasons of the move from the singular “Name of Father” to the plural “Names of Father” in Lacan works, placing the conceptual morphing of that move.
