Resumen
This paper explores the development of the research function as part of the training system in teacher training institutes in the province of San Luis. Institutional spaces of training institutions in the province of San Luis state that the research appears faintly in the training of students and that the inquiry under-explored space. Teacher training institutes depend on the Higher Education Program of the Province of San Luis, and have poor relations between them and institutional interactions. The province of San Luis has a varied range of offers in teacher training, taking two institutes of state management and at least six privately run. In this universe of training institutions, organizational dynamics and the role and management of research they are different.
