This essay is a brief description of the relationship between the discilpines of anthropology and law, and how the dialogue between the two disciplines has contributed to the redefinition of the changes in political constitutions and laws concerning the rights of indigenous villages. The case of the Law of the Rights of Indigenous Villages and Communities of the State of Oaxaca is studied more concretly.
