Resumen
The role of the Santa Cruz River in human circulation in Patagonia has long been discussed (Orquera 1987, Borrero et al. 1992, Franco et al. 2012). We present new information generated in rescue works related to the construction of dams, which we analyze in conjunction with the ones obtained in research projects to gain information regarding this topic.
