Dentro del marco del proyecto de investigación del UBACYT 2018-2020 (Azaretto, Ros) y de la Maestría en psicoanálisis (Incesto: antropología y psicoanálisis), en continuidad con el trabajo “El Marx que usó Lacan” (Saubidet, 2018a) presentado en el anterior congreso; en esta oportunidad presentaremos algunos de los conceptos e ideas centrales del sociólogo / antropólogo Marcel Mauss, referente tanto de Lévi-Strauss como de Lacan; quien se dedicara, entre otras cosas, al estudio de las formas de intercambio no capitalistas, como es el caso del potlatch, ligado al don y al hau. El estudio de estas formas de intercambio, que conviven dentro del sistema capitalista, nos permite recuperar un aspecto esencial del uso no capitalista de los bienes: el acto del don, acto que inaugura cualquier forma de intercambio y de lazo social; al mismo tiempo que queda establecido entre quien da y quien recibe, una relación de poder asimétrica y jerárquica (Bataille, 1976). Para nuestra sorpresa, este aspecto de quien dona es trabajado por Lacan al comienzo de su obra, Seminario 4, en una versión casi arqueológica del nombre del padre: “la función del padre como donateur” (Lacan, 1956-1957:141) de un bien a ser intercambiado. The study of these forms of exchange, which coexist within the capitalist system, allows us to recover an essential aspect of the non-capitalist use of goods: the act of the gift, an act that inaugurates any form of exchange and social bond; at the same time that it is established between the one who gives and the one who receives, a relationship of asymmetric and hierarchical power (Bataille, 1976). To our surprise, this aspect of who donates is worked by Lacan at the beginning of his work, Seminar 4, in an almost archaeological version of the father’s name: “the role of the father as a donor” (Lacan, 1956-1957: 141) a good to be exchanged.
