El trabajo retoma el recorrido de la autora en Programas de Extensión Universitaria, Proyectos de Investigación UBACYT, Tesis de Maestría y en la elaboración del Proyecto de su Tesis Doctoral. Se identificaron interrogantes sobre tensiones y contradicciones entre contexto de trabajo y aprendizaje profesional. Partiendo de la Teoría Histórico-Cultural de la Actividad, que destaca tensiones y contradicciones de un sistema social de actividad, como fuerza clave para el aprendizaje y el cambio, se indagan tensiones intervinientes en aprendizajes profesionales en Servicios de Salud del ámbito público. El presente constituye un estudio descriptivo de corte transversal, con abordaje cualitativo. Se realizaron observaciones y entrevistas semiestructuradas a agentes de dos sectores de un Hospital Público de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires. Se elaboró una grilla tópica a partir de categorías previamente definidas, mientras otras fueron construidas posteriormente. Los resultados retoman categorías reconstruidas como: rutina vs cambio, trabajo individual vs trabajo con otros y formación académica vs experiencia. Se evidencia coexistencia de estructuras burocráticas y al mismo tiempo espacios de intercambio, sostenidos de manera individual, que permiten el aprendizaje e introducir cambios en las prácticas. Palabras clave Aprendizaje - Salud - Contexto - Práctica ABSTRACT TENSIONS AND LEARNINGS IN HEALTH PROFESSIONALS IN THE PUBLIC AMBIT The work takes up the journey of the author in University Extension Programs, Research Projects in Science and Technology at Buenos Aires University, Master’s Thesis and in the development of the Project of her Doctoral Thesis. Questions were identified about tensions and contradictions between work context and professional learning. Based on the Historical-Cultural Theory of the Activity, which highlights tensions and contradictions of a social system of activity, as a key strengths for apprenticeship and change, the tensions implied in professional learning in Health Public Services were explored. The present constitutes a descriptive study of transversal cut, with qualitative approach. Observations and half--structured interviews were developed with agents of two sections of a Public Hospital in Buenos Aires City. A topic scheme was worked out from previously defined categories, while others were constructed afterwards. The outcomes retake built categories: routine vs change, individual work vs work with the others and academic education vs experience. It is evident the co-existence of bureaucratic structures and at the same time exchange spaces, individually supported, that make possible introducing changes in practices.
