El presente trabajo aborda la problemática del duelo genético ubicándolo en el cruzamiento de los campos psicológico y social. Nos serviremos de los aportes del psicoanálisis para entender qué es el duelo y de qué manera afecta el narcicismo de quienes recurren a las tecnologías de reproducción humana asistida (TRHA) con donación de gametos. En cuanto al campo social, veremos que el matching fenotípico es un claro ejemplo de la importancia que tiene socialmente la transmisión genética como fuente de filiación. Por último, nos preguntaremos a qué se debe esa importancia y cómo el Estado incide en el ámbito de las TRHA. We will take the contributions of psychoanalisis to understand what the mourning is and how the narcicism is affected in those who use the assisted human reproduction technologies (AHRT). As regards the social field, the phenotipical matching is an example of the social relevance that the biological inheritance takes as a way to produce affiliation.
