Este trabajo se enmarca en la investigación UBACyT 2014-2017 “La urgencia en salud mental en el hospital público en la ciudad de Buenos Aires” dirigida por la Dra. en Psicología María Inés Sotelo. Se trata de un estudio descriptivo-interpretativo cuyo objetivo principal es caracterizar la población que consulta en urgencia en salud mental, así como el modo de intervención y resolución de dicha urgencia en diferentes hospitales públicos de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires. Consideramos que la realización de este tipo de investigaciones es de fundamental importancia para la adecuación de, por un lado, los diversos dispositivos de guardia en salud mental a los cambios en la demanda de la población que consulta y, por el otro, de los modos de intervención de los profesionales. En este trabajo se abordarán aportes del psicoanálisis de orientación lacaniana con el fin de esclarecer algunas cuestiones en torno a las toxicomanías que se presentan en la urgencia. A PSYCHOANALYTIC APPROACH This work is part of the 2014-2017 UBACyT research “The urgency in mental health in the public hospital in the city of Buenos Aires” directed by the Dr. in Psychology María Inés Sotelo. This is a descriptive-interpretative study whose main objective is to characterize the population that consults in mental health emergency, as well as the way of intervention and resolution of said urgency in different public hospitals of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. We consider that the realization of this type of research is of fundamental importance for the adaptation of, on the one hand, the different mental health emergency room to the changes in the demand of the population that consults and, on the other hand, of the modes of intervention of professionals. In this paper, contributions of psychoanalysis with a Lacanian orientation will be addressed in order to clarify some issues regarding drug addiction that arise in the emergency.
