Para el humano la existencia no se asimila a la vida. La existencia de un ser humano se presenta dependiente de las vicisitudes del deseo de otros seres humanos. Propongo observar que sucede a edades más tempranas a los 5 años, pensar los tiempos iniciales de la vida para plantear algunos lineamientos que nos permitan abordar un problema grave que puede ocurrir en el momento inicial de la estructuración subjetiva: el autismo. Desde el psicoanálisis pensamos que se producen fenómenos relacionados al autismo cuando hay fallas en los momentos iniciales de la configuración de la estructura psíquica. Si el niño es un sujeto en vías de constitución, depende del Otro y del lugar o no que el Otro le asigne para poder constituirse como sujeto, entonces el discurso de los padres tiene incidencias en las modalidades de subjetivación del niño. La intervención del analista puede entonces también modificar modalidades de subjetivación en tiempos constituyentes. Al mismo tiempo ese lugar que el Otro asigna al niño puede ser aceptado o no por parte del niño.
