El presente escrito formar parte de la investigación de Maestría U.B.A. Formalizaciones del cuerpo en la obra de J. Lacan a partir de la superficie del toro: Seminario IX y Seminario XXIV, (Costantini, 2016), y del Proyecto de investigación UBACyT 2014-2017 Diagnósticos en el último período de la obra de Jacques Lacan (19711981) (Schejtman y Leibson, 2014). El objetivo de este artículo es indagar la categoría de consistencia a la altura del Seminario 22, R.S.I. (Lacan, 1974-1975) de Jacques Lacan. El propósito de dicha indagación es producir avances en la formalización del cuerpo como tórico que la última parte de la obra de Lacan promueve. Como primera cuestión, delimitaremos los distintos usos que este autor hace de la noción de consistencia. En segundo lugar, trabajaremos la articulación entre la escritura del nudo borromeo de los tres registros y la noción de consistencia. Asimismo, exploraremos la definición de consistencia como efecto de lo imaginario propuesta en dicho curso. Luego, aplicaremos esta categoría a la relación cuerpo-toro. Finalmente, extraeremos algunas consecuencias que se desprenden del abordaje del cuerpo del ser hablante a partir de la noción lacaniana de consistencia imaginaria. Lacan from the surface of the bull: Seminar IX and Seminar XXIV, (Costantini, 2016), and the research project UBACyT 2014-2017 Diagnostics in the last period of the work of Jacques Lacan (1971-1981) (Schejtman and Leibson, 2014).The objective of this article is to investigate the category of consistency at the height of Seminar 22, R.S.I. (Lacan, 19741975) by Jacques Lacan. The purpose of this inquiry is to produce advances in the formalization of the body as a toric that the last part of Lacan’s work promotes. As a first question, we will delimit the different uses that this author makes of the notion of consistency. Secondly, we will work on the articulation between the Borromean knot writing of the three registers and the notion of consistency. Also, we will explore the definition of consistency as an effect of the imaginary proposed in said course. Then, we will apply this category to the body-bull relationship. Finally, we will extract some consequences that emerge from the approach of the body of the speaking being from the Lacanian notion of imaginary consistency.
