Pensamos el presente trabajo, en el marco del Proyecto de Investigación “Función de abuelidad y transmisión intergeneracional en las configuraciones familiares actuales”. En una producción escrita anteriormente (6° Congreso Internacional de Psicología, UNLP) planteamos el impulso a legar (O. Bodni, 2013) como condición humana imprescindible para completar la insuficiencia de la transmisión genética. Entendemos al envejecimiento como un proceso, que desde la perspectiva de lo diverso, alude a un hecho singular con múltiples formas de manifestación en cada sujeto. Asimismo, sostenemos que el adulto mayor se encuentra hoy frente una realidad cambiante que lo interpela y lo desafía a encontrar, enunciados identitarios que le permitan encarnar su función. Desde este planteo, nos propusimos entonces dilucidar acerca de los modos en que los sujetos envejecentes hallan un lugar de producción de sentido de su propia trascendencia a través de la función de transmisión en el marco de nuevas configuraciones vinculares. Para tal fin se implementó una metodología cualitativa que apuntó a brindar una descripción, categorización e interpretación de los datos recogidos. El trabajo de campo se basó en entrevistas semidirigidas, realizadas a adultos mayores y encuestas realizadas a alumnos avanzados de la carrera de psicología. INFERENCE OF IMPLEMENTED INSTRUMENTS We planned this current work within the framework of the Investigation Project: “Grandparentage function and intergenerational transmission in current family configurations”. In a previously written essay (6th International Investigation Congress of the School of Psychology, UNLP) we stated the impulse to bequeath (O. Bodni, 2013) as a human condition which is essential to complete the insufficiency of the genetic transmission. We understand ageing as a process which, from the perspective of the diverse, refers to a singular fact with multiple forms of manifestation in each subject. At the same time, we state that, today, older adults face a changing reality, which apprehend and defythem to find identity statements which would allow them her to embody their function. Then, from this proposal, we’ve set ourselves the target to elucidate the ways in which ageing subjects find a productive role in the sense of their self-significance through the transmission function within the framework of new linking configurations. For that purpose, we implemented a qualitative methodology which aimed at providing a description, categorization and interpretation of the collected data.
