La siguiente presentación, tiene como objetivo aprestar categorías metodológicas de utilidad para una hermenéutica narrativa desde una perspectiva psico-social. En esta oportunidad, la experiencia significativa que se examina es la que puede ser tematizada como “el eje amparo/desamparo” a la luz de la función narrativa de “alejamiento”. Las características metodológicas que predominan corresponden a un modelo descriptivo-exploratorio, para una propuesta hermenéutica con miras a reunir categorías útiles, que nos permiten realizar una interpretación de alguna de las partes del corpus de los cuentos seleccionados. Entre las conclusiones exploratorias a las cuales se arribaron, se destaca la desagregación de sub-categorías de la función de alejamiento propuesta por el antropólogo Vladimir Propp, la caracterización del “eje amparo/desamparo” desde la perspectiva de la psicología del desarrollo -en la línea de trabajo del psicólogo Donald Winnicott- y la articulación entre la identificación de dicha función narrativa y la experiencia de “amparo” en el niño.
