En los últimos años, han cobrado mayor visibilidad diferentes movimientos de mujeres, en particular los movimientos feministas (Tobias, 2018), poniendo de manifiesto fenómenos como “Ni una Menos”, así como las manifestaciones recientes hacia la legalización del aborto. Paralelamente, también han surgido voces que se posicionan en contra de estos movimientos. Diferentes autores han sugerido que las actitudes tanto positivas como negativas hacia los movimientos feministas (Spence, 1998; Henley, Meng, O’Brien, McCarthy and Sockloskie, 1998) podrían deberse al prejuicio sexista (Glick & Fiske, 1996, 2001). El objetivo principal fue analizar las relaciones entre las actitudes hacia el feminismo y las diferentes expresiones del sexismo ambivalente (en su forma hostil y benevolente). Participaron del estudio 315 adultos con un rango etario entre 18 y 55 años (62% mujeres). Se evaluaron las actitudes hacia el feminismo a través de una escala creada ad-hoc para este estudio, el Inventario de Sexismo Ambivalente y variables socio demográficas. Los resultados indicaron actitudes hacia el feminismo moderadas, hallando diferencias significativas entre hombres y mujeres. Además, se observaron relaciones negativas entre las actitudes hacia el feminismo y el sexismo hostil, mientras que relaciones positivas con el sexismo benevolente. Se discute el rol del prejuicio sexista en el apoyo o retracción de los movimientos feministas en la actualidad. The main objective was to analyze the relationships between attitudes towards feminism and the different expressions of ambivalent sexism (in its hostile and benevolent form). The study included 315 adults with an age range between 18 and 55 years (62% women). Attitudes towards feminism were evaluated through a scale created ad-hoc for this study, the Inventory of ambivalent sexism and sociodemographic variables.The results indicated moderate attitudes towards feminism, finding differences between men and women. In addition, negative relationships were observed between attitudes toward feminism and hostile sexism, while positive relationships with benevolent sexism.
