La sanción de la Ley de Identidad de Género (2012) permitió la rectificación registral del sexo, el cambio de nombre de pila e imagen sin intervención judicial. Promueve también la despatologización de las personas “trans”. A partir de su promulgación, lejos de cerrarse el debate un nuevo campo, conocido como “niñez trans”, cobró fuerza y despierta en su entorno la producción de diversas discusiones e indagaciones. Este estudio se propone explorar las vicisitudes del trabajo del duelo en el proceso de cambio de identidad de género a partir de tres coordenadas: el nombre propio, el cuerpo y la imagen. A partir de la elección del nuevo nombre de pila, ¿qué destino para el nombre “propio” otorgado por los Otros significativos? Respecto del cambio registral, ¿qué lugar para el cuerpo percibido y recortado por el Otro social? Luego de la asunción de la nueva imagen corporal, ¿qué hace el niño/a con la anterior? La metodología será doble: se seleccionarán testimonios públicos de niños, niñas y adolescentes trans. A su vez, se llevará a cabo una revisión bibliográfica psicoanalítica que permita articular y analizar dicho material a la luz de la problemática del duelo en infancias trans. It also promotes the depathologisation of “trans” people. Far from concluding the discussion, a new field called “trans childhood” spawned a great number of discussions and research. This paper intends to explore the vicissitudes of mourning process in identity change will be explored based on three variables: the own name, the body, and the body image. Since the election of a new own name, what will be the destiny of the original name given by the significant Others? Respect the registry restatement, what about the body perceived and cropped by the social Other? After the assumption of the new body image, what does the child with the image left behind? A double methodology will be applied. In the first instance public testimonies of trans children and adolescents will be selected. In second instance a bibliographic and psychoanalytic revision will be applied to those cases in order to articulate and analyze them according to mourning process in trans-childhood.
