¿Por qué es tan difícil ser padres hoy? En tanto sujetos de época, adultos y adolescentes, son los protagonistas de un mundo social cambiante, que ofrece nuevos ideales y paradigmas. Seguimos asistiendo a las vicisitudes típicas del adolescente, como el encuentro con el cuerpo puberal y las remodelaciones identificatorias. Reflexionaremos entonces acerca de lo novedoso, de las formas en las que se va reconfigurando el entrecruzamiento entre las adolescencias y las formas de ser adulto actualmente. Adolescentes exigentes y críticos, con severas dificultades ante la frustración, se enfrentan a adultos acorralados, dubitativos y temerosos, en una posición simétrica que redunda en desamparo. Postulamos que el trabajo de sustitución generacional está obstaculizado, ubicándose la “inmadurez” de un lado inesperado, el del adulto avasallado. Como contrapartida, vemos recrudecer síntomas que expresarían desinvestiduras representacionales, resultando desde una dificultosa elección vocacional a casos extremos que muestran un exceso no metabolizado de sufrimiento (que redunda en ataques en el cuerpo, o en transformaciones drásticas y permanentes del mismo). Tomaremos, entre otros destacados psicoanalistas, a D. Winnicott, y a P. Aulagnier, intentando ubicar la importancia radical que cobra el otro en la constitución de la subjetividad y la necesidad clínica de un trabajo a dos voces. Nowadays, adults and adolescents, are the protagonists of a changing social world, which offers new ideals and paradigms. We continue to attend the typical vicissitudes of the adolescent, such as the encounter with the pubertal body and the identification remodeling. We will reflect on the ways in which the interbreeding between teens and the ways of being an adult is reconfigured today. Demanding and critical adolescents, with severe difficulties in the face of frustration, face adults cornered, hesitant and fearful, in a symmetrical position that results in helplessness. We postulate that the work of generational substitution is hampered, placing the “immaturity” of an unexpected side, that of the overwhelmed adult. On the other hand, we see the reappearance of symptoms that would express representational disinvestment, resulting from a difficult vocational choice to extreme cases that show an unmetabolized excess of suffering (which results in attacks on the body, or in drastic and permanent transformations thereof). We will take, among other outstanding psychoanalysts, D. Winnicott, and P. Aulagnier, trying to locate the radical importance that the other charges in the constitution of subjectivity and the clinical necessity of a work with two voices.
