Se interroga por el futuro que tiene la intervención analítica en las psicosis, donde actualmente, al momento de abordarla se priorizan lecturas deficitarias que resaltan la pérdida de la realidad y la fragmentación yoica. Esta perspectiva da cuenta de lo que Lacan llamo posición psiquiátrica, donde se toma al psicótico como objeto de estudio a modo de defensa y no como punto de interrogación de la relación del sujeto con el objeto. Sin embargo, las resistencias que se erigen contra el loco no son exclusivas de la ciencia o la medicina, sino que la sociedad en su conjunto es responsable de este destino sombrío. Entendiendo a los dispositivos como una red que comprende discursos, instituciones, instalaciones arquitectónicas, leyes, enunciados científicos, proposiciones morales, etc. Estos construyen subjetividad, que queda sujetada a determinados efectos de saber/ poder, y a partir de ahí, diferencia lo sano de lo enfermo, lo bueno de lo malo, lo normal de lo anormal. Como respuesta en este artículo, se propone un retorno a las enseñanzas de Lacan, desde una posición crítica, y devolverle el estatuto de sujeto (del lenguaje) al psicótico.
