El recorrido por algunos textos me permitio cernir un punto crucial a mi gusto de las conceptualizaciones de lacan en su seminario “El sinthome”, cual diferenciacion entre síntoma y sinthome. Es el mismo Lacan quien habilita al oyente de sus seminarios al libre albedrío con su consabido “... síntoma o sinthome, como ustedes quieran”. Se le suma a esto la sutil diferencia fonemática de la lenguan francesa entre ambos términos que se diferenciará solo en su grafía pero ya en el establecimiento de su seminario y luego para lengua castellana en su traducción. Para situar la diferenciación tomaré lo que Lacan recorta de la escritura de Joyce más los valiosos aportes de otros autores que logran esclarecer la cuestión. It is Lacan himself who enables the listener of his Seminars to free will with his usual “... symptom or sinthome, as you wish”. Added to this is the subtle phonemic difference of the French language between the two terms that will differ only in its spelling but already in the establishment of its seminary and then for the Castilian language in its translation. To situate the differentiation I will take what Lacan cuts out of Joyce’s writing plus the valuable contributions of other authors who managed to clarify the issue.
