El trabajo se desprende de una investigación en curso, “La invención lacaniana del objeto a y sus incidencias en la dirección de la cura”, Secyt, UNC (2018-2020), y tiene como objetivo precisar la relación que Lacan establece entre el objeto a y la categoría de “valor de verdad” de la lógica proposicional de Morgan. Se trata de un trabajo teórico, que se centra en las elaboraciones de Lacan pertinentes al tema en el periodo 1962-1967. El objeto a es diferente a cualquier otro, ya que no es imaginario, ni simbólico, sino real, aunque no sin una relación con las otras dimensiones. No se trata de un objeto que pueda sustancializarse, o “entificarse”, por el contrario, solo se localizaría por sus efectos. Uno de estos es el deseo que causa, se trata del objeto que causa el deseo del Otro. Lacan situará una multiplicidad de fenómenos subjetivos en relación al deseo del Otro, y articulará dicho efecto con una categoría de valor de verdad. Nuestro trabajo concluye que el valor de verdad articulado al objeto, no es perpetuo sino contingente, y que el psicoanálisis posibilita la mutación de dicho valor. Palabras clave Lacan - Objeto a - Deseo - Valor de verdad ABSTRACT OBJECT A AND TRUTH VALUE The work follows from an ongoing investigation, “The Lacanian Inventio of the object a and its Incidences in the direction of the cure”, Secyt, UNC (2018-2020), and aims to clarify the relationship that Lacan establishes between the object a to and the category of “truth value” of Morgan’s propositional logic. This is a theoretical work, which focuses on the elaborations of Lacan relevant to the topic in the period 1962-1967. Lacan presents the object a at Seminar 10, like the rest of a languaje operation. It is an object different from any other, since it is not imaginary, nor symbolic, but real, although not without a relationship with the other dimensions. However, this object is a condition of our knowledge of the world. It is not an empirical object, it would only be localized by its effects. One of them is the desire it causes, it is the object that causes the desire of the Other. Lacan will situate a multiplicity of the phenomena in relation to the desire of the Other, and articulate that effect with the value category of truth.
