El presente trabajo tiene como finalidad revistar el concepto de la transferencia en la práctica clínica analítica. Para esto se ha seleccionado un caso clínico: “Una forma de hacer argumento” de la analista Silvia Amigo (1988). En el mismo se intentará identificar la transferencia tanto positiva como negativa. Acompañando este análisis con un soporte teórico que fundamente lo señalado en el caso. Como se mencionó anteriormente, este caso permitirá analizar, en primer lugar, la identificación de la transferencia dentro del caso, particularmente el carácter negativo de la transferencia, aquí es el momento donde se detienen las asociaciones, el mundo del paciente ahora “es más gris”, “le quitó la sal de la vida”. Tomando el pensamiento hegeliano, la negatividad tiene un cierto valor, lo negativo tiene un lugar en la constitución del sujeto, es en lo negativo donde hay movimiento y transformación.
