El presente trabajo se enmarca en una investigación UBACyT que, bajo el titulo “Transformaciones de lo femenino: metáforas, discursos y casos de la Psicología, Psiquiatría y Psicoanálisis entre fines del siglo XIX y mediados del XX”, se propone indagar las diferentes transformaciones discursivas de lo femenino en la historia de las disciplinas psi. En esta oportunidad nos interesa trabajar los debates producidos al seno del psicoanálisis - entre la Escuela de Viena y la Escuela Inglesa – sobre la sexualidad femenina, demarcando la fuerte influencia de los incipientes movimientos feministas en tal controversia. La tensión irreductible a lo largo de la historia entre ambos campos de saber, entre el psicoanálisis y el feminismo, ha originado un espacio fecundo para el debate y permitido enriquecer la conceptualización de lo femenino que cada disciplina sostiene, respecto a una posición crítica de la otra. En este sentido creemos que un análisis historiográfico sobre las diferentes mutaciones discursivas y conceptuales que ha sufrido lo femenino problematizan y aportan a los debates actuales sobre genero y feminidad. Palabras clave Sexualidad femenina - Movimientos feministas - Psicoanálisis ABSTRACT THE FEMININE: AN IRREDUCIBLE TENSION WITHIN PSYCHOANALYSIS The present work is part of a UBACyT research, which under the title “Transformations of the feminine: metaphors, discourses and cases of Psychology, Psychiatry and Psychoanalysis between the late nineteenth and mid-twentieth centuries”, aims to investigate the different discursive transformations of the feminine in the history of the psi disciplines. On this occasion we are interested in working with the debates produced within psychoanalysis - between the Vienna School and the English School - on female sexuality, demarcating the strong influence of the incipient feminist movements in such controversy. The irreducible tension throughout history between both fields of knowledge, between psychoanalysis and feminism, has created a fertile space for debate and allowed to enrich the conceptualization of the feminine that each discipline holds, with respect to a critical position of the other. In this sense, we believe that a historiographical analysis on the different discursive and conceptual mutations that the feminine has suffered problematizes and contributes to the current debates about gender and femininity.
