Introducción En las páginas siguientes intentaré dar cuenta de un tratamiento psicoanalítico con un niño a través del material clínico extraído en dicha experiencia. Para pensar la lógica del caso tomaré la referencia que Lacan (1969) propone en su texto Dos notas sobre el niño: “El síntoma del niño está en posición de responder a lo que hay de sintomático en la estructura familiar” . En este contexto trataré de localizar la especificidad que conlleva dicha clínica en relación a la Madre y el Padre en su estatuto de operaciones necesarias para la constitución subjetiva. Funciones encarnadas en los padres que Roberto trae a su tratamiento. Por último me pregunto si la respuesta del niño frente al Otro tiene carácter de síntoma.
