El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivos: 1)reconocer los principales factores que intervinieron en el surgimiento de la Psicolingüística y la Psicología Cognitiva del Lenguaje en la Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, 2) Caracterizar el proceso que facilitó la incorporación de esta disciplina dentro del campo de la investigación experimental, 3) Registrar los avances que se realizaron en la materia. Se realizó una investigación historiográfica de tipo exploratoria, basada en la revisión de documentos históricos y la realización de entrevistas en profundidad a personas relacionadas con la disciplina. Se describieron también los caracteres del momento socio-histórico y político que contribuyeron al fortalecimiento del campo local. Los resultados indican que la participación del psicólogo emerge de un trabajo multidisciplinario, lo que permite una consolidación y reconocimiento de las diferentes líneas de investigación en este campo de la Psicología. Se destaca que el avance de la Psicología Experimental, dentro del ámbito universitario, ha sido una conquista que ha implicado luchas internas para poder posicionarse en un lugar relevante. En este sentido se adoptan las palabras de Vilanova (1994) “ Se pone de relieve la necesidad de un cambio de actitud en dirección a la novedad y a la rigurosidad científica”. Palabras clave Historia - Psicología Experimental - Universidad Nacional de Córdoba - Psicolingüística ABSTRACT FACTORS INVOLVED IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH IN PSYCHOLINGUISTICS, NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF CÓRDOBA The present work tries to recognize the main factors that intervened in the emergence of Psycholinguistics and Cognitive Psychology of Language in the Faculty of Psychology of the National University of Cordoba Then, characterize the process that facilitated the incorporation of this discipline within the field of experimental research, and record the progress made in the matter. An exploratory historiographic research was carried out, based on the review of historical documents and the conduct of in-depth interviews with people related to the discipline. The characters of the socio-historical and political moment that contributed to the strengthening of the local field were also described. The results indicate that the participation of the psychologist emerges from a multidisciplinary work, which allows a consolidation and recognition of the different lines of research in this field of Psychology. It is emphasized that the advance of Experimental Psychology, within the university context, has been a conquest that has involved internal struggles to be able to position itself in a relevant place. In this sense, the words of Vilanova (1994) are adopted. “The need for a change of attitude in the direction of novelty and scientific rigor is highlighted”.
