El objetivo en esta presentación es relatar sobre el origen del Acompañamiento Terapéutico en la ciudad de Chacabuco (Bs As).El mismo fue realizado a través de la investigación exploratoria indagando en diversas fuentes profesionales por medio de entrevistas, y con una muestra tipo bola de nieve hallándose referentes que fueron ‘’los pioneros’’ en nuestra ciudad. Las mencionadas anteriormente son Ladys Saccani psicopedagogaacompañante terapéutico recibida en 2009, y Karina Moralesprofesora de educación especial- Acompañante Terapéutico recibida en la primera promoción del instituto Superior de Formación Docente Paulo Freire en el año 2011. A partir de estas profesionales la carrera comienza a tener más reconocimiento de tipo social y mayor demanda laboral. Otras fuentes revelan que en el Centro de Formación Profesional N°401 se dictaban cursos de corta duración de Acompañamiento Terapéutico, en el año 2005. Comienza a formalizarse dicha actividad con el primer curso dictado en el Instituto Paulo Freire de gestión privada DIPREGEP N°6593 de la localidad de Chacabuco, dictado por el Licenciado Gabriel Pulice en el año 2011 Se abre por primera vez en el I.S.F.T y T nº 67, de Gestión oficial, iniciando en el año 2018 el ingreso de la primera promoción egresando en el 2020.
