En el proceso de describir cómo las Terapias Cognitivo-Conductuales (TCC) y el Psicoanálisis conceptualizan el material hablado del paciente a partir de las nociones de verdad y juicio, nos interesa reflexionar sobre la prevalencia del juicio como función intelectual en las intervenciones de las psicoterapias, a partir de rastrear sus antecedentes en la psiquiatría clásica y su impacto actual en los manuales de diagnóstico, particularmente el DSM4 y el DSM-5. Esta prevalencia será trabajada a través de pensar el mecanismo de la interpretación delirante.
