El presente trabajo se enmarca en el Proyecto de Investigación “Parejas disidentes: accesibilidad y cuidados para el ejercicio de la parentalidad” perteneciente a la Facultad de Psicología de la UNLP. Desde la misma se participó del Conversatorio “Incidencias de la biología y la genética en las filiaciones LGTB+”, dirigido a integrantes del colectivo LGTB+ que formen parte de una familia con hijxs o deseen hacerlo. En esta oportunidad nos proponemos analizar el lugar del padre a partir de las inquietudes surgidas en este encuentro. Desde el marco teórico tomaremos el nombre del padre como sustitución metafórica que le permitió al psicoanálisis ubicar la función de la ley como no deducible de adaptaciones funcionales al medio, ni a cuestiones genéticas, sino que está articulado a la especie humana en tanto que habla. La metodología será, a partir de los desarrollos del psicoanálisis, analizar los decires de las mujeres acerca de la función del padre en la crianza de les hijes. Entre las conclusiones encontramos algunas afectaciones compartidas al respecto de la dimensión de la verdad: ¿qué decir si nos preguntan sobre el padre?,¿Cómo comunicar que el padre es un donante?,¿Cómo se construye la identidad?,¿Qué supone el derecho a la identidad? Palabras clave Parentalidad - Familias LGTBIQ+ - Padre - Identidad ABSTRACT THE ENIGMA OF THE ORIGIN: A MATTER TO DISCUSS This work is part of the Research Project “Dissident couples: accessibility and care for the exercise of parenthood” belonging to the Faculty of Psychology of the UNLP. From it, the Conversation “Incidences of biology and genetics in LGTB + affiliations” was participated, aimed at members of the LGTB + collective who are part of a family with children or wish to do so. On this occasion we propose to analyze the place of the father based on the concerns raised in this meeting. From the theoretical framework we will take the name of the father as a metaphorical substitution that allowed psychoanalysis to locate the function of the law as not deducible from functional adaptations to the environment, nor to genetic issues, but rather it is articulated to the human species as it speaks.The methodology will be, from the developments of psychoanalysis, to analyze the sayings of women about the role of the father in the upbringing of their children. Among the conclusions we find some shared affectations regarding the dimension of truth: what to say if they ask us about the father?, How to communicate that the father is a donor?, How is identity constructed?, What does the right to identity?
