Se presentan resultados de un relevamiento sobre la psicología en Argentina que se viene realizando en forma permanente desde 1993, y se publica en forma periódica, para conocer entre otros aspectos la evolución cuantitativa de la formación de psicólogos hasta el año 2005. Se exponen aquí los items del relevamiento referidos a la nómina de universidades públicas y privadas que, desde mediados de la década de 1950, forman psicólogos en Argentina. Se consigna su año de fundación, y al año 2005, la cantidad de psicólogos formados (62760), los egresados de ese año, el total de estudiantes y de alumnos ingresantes. Se construyó un panorama de la evolución de la formación de psicólogos, mediante cortes en los años 19651975-1985-1995 y 2005. Se presentan las tablas y gráficos correspondientes, vinculando también la cantidad de egresados con el total de psicólogos activos (51200) detectados en otra parte del relevamiento. Se consignan algunas relaciones de proporciones entre los valores relevados y aspectos sociodemográficos. This research has been conducted permanently since 1993 and periodically published to know, among other aspects, the cuantitative evolution of the training of psychologists until the year 2005. The items shown here refer to the list of both private and public universities that have trained psychologists since the mid-1950’s. The year of foundation is given and, until 2005, the amount of trained psychologists (62760) as well as the graduates of each year, the total amount of students and of those who are beginning their studies. An outlook on the evolution of the training of psychologists was built by cuts in the years 1965 - 1975 - 1985 - 1995 and 2005. The corresponding charts and graphics are shown, linking also the amount of graduates to the total amount of active psychologists (51200) detected in a different section of the survey. Some relations of proportions between the surveyed values and socio-demographic aspects are also shown. Key words Argentina Universities Psychologists Training
