El presente trabajo se enmarca dentro del Proyecto de Investigación “La importancia de la función simbólica y sus alteraciones en el aprendizaje” que se desarrolla en la Universidad Nacional de San Luis. Nuestro objetivo es demostrar el valor diagnóstico del Dibujo Libre como primera técnica gráfica, ya que constituye un espacio que le permite al niño expresar de un modo indirecto lo que no puede manifestar verbalmente, simbolizando así, su real motivo de consulta que podrá o no coincidir con el motivo expresado por los padres y la docente. A tal fin, trabajaremos con estudios psicodiagnósticos realizados a niños de entre siete y nueve años que son derivados por problemas de aprendizaje sin la presencia de déficit intelectual. Our objective is to demonstrate the diagnostic value of Free Drawing as first graphic technique, since it constitutes a space that allows the child to express in an indirect way what he or she cannot manifest verbally, thus symbolizing his or her real purpose for consulting which could, or could not, coincide with the purpose expressed by parents and teachers. For this reason we will work with psychodiagnostic studies on children between seven and nine years old who are derivate because of learning problems without, however, the presence of an intellectual deficit.
