El objetivo del estudio fue analizar las representaciones que tienen los estudiantes del último año de la carrera de Psicología de la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán sobre las expectativas de actuación profesional, y su relación con cómo se sienten con su elección de carrera. La metodología utilizada fue el análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo de contenidos recurrentes. Se fundamentaron las principales características de la relación entre el mundo del trabajo y la educación, ya que es necesario tener en cuenta a las mismas para reflexionar y pensar propuestas posibles para favorecer la construcción de posibles identidades profesionales para los psicólogos. Los resultados obtenidos muestran una significativa disonancia en la línea de argumentos que sirven a los sujetos para pensar las respuestas a cómo se sienten con la carrera y los que anclan las respuestas sobre las expectativas de actuación profesional. The principal characteristics of the relation were based between the world of the work and the education, since it is necessary have the same ones in mind to think and imagine possible offers to favour the construction of possible professional identities for the psychologists. The obtained results show a significant dissonance in the line of arguments that serve to the subjects to think the answers to how they feel with the career and that anchor the answers on the expectations of professional performance.
