La creciente pauperización que viene produciendo la instauración del modelo neoliberal, produjo la emergencia de grupos vulnerables y vulnerados en sus derechos. Entre ellos, los drogadependientes. Estas personas, configuran uno de los grupos que tienen problemas para acceder a los Servicios de Salud. El trabajo, se propone como objetivos: describir las representaciones sociales y prácticas sobre la drogadependencia de los profesionales de la salud de un Hospital estatal, y analizar su relación con la Dignidad en la Atención de personas que usandrogasenServiciosdeSalud.Setratadeunainvestigación de carácter exploratorio y descriptivo, que sigue una estrategia cualitativa. Se realizaron 12 entrevistas en profundidad a profesionales de la salud de varios servicios del Hospital seleccionado, con el fin de rastrear las dimensiones del análisis y encontrar nuevas líneas que aporten al problema planteado. El análisis de los discursos y prácticas sobre la drogadependencia de los profesionales entrevistados, muestra la presencia de percepciones estigmatizantes en las que prevalecen construcciones referidas al drogadependiente como “desviado social”. Esto se traduce en un conjunto de prácticas que hemos denominado “rechazantes” y que podrían relacionarse con el grado de respeto a los derechos que hacen a la Dignidad en la Atención. The pauperization that comes producing the implementation of the neoliberal model produced the emergency of vulnerable groups. The dependency to drugs constitute one of the groups that have problems to accede to the Health Services. The work, proposes as aims: to describe the social and practical representations on the dependency to drugs of the health professionals of a state Hospital, and to analyze his relation with the “Dignity in the attention” of the persons who use drugs in Health Services. It is an investigation of exploratory and descriptive character that follows a qualitative strategy. 12 semiconstructed interviews were realized to health professionals of the selected Hospital, in order to relieve the dimensions of the analysis and to find new lines that are a contribution to the raised problem. The analysis of the speeches and practices about the dependency to drugs of the interviewed professionals, shows the presence of stigmas in that constructions referred to the persons who use drugs prevail as” turned aside socially “. This is translated in practices that we have been called “operations of rejection” and that they might relate to the degree of respect to the rights that they do to the Dignity in the Attention.
