Intentamos en este trabajo articular la función social de la U.B.A. con la evaluación psicológica preventiva que realiza a sus estudiantes, facilitadora de la detección precoz de indicadores de riesgo. La U.B.A. además de su misión formadora cumple una función social. Estudia científicamente problemas sociales, políticos e ideológicos implementando propuestas de acción dirigidas a los mismos, a través de la Extensión Universitaria. La Dirección de Salud y Asistencia Social tiene la misión de conducir integralmente las acciones sanitarias en el medio universitario, para optimizar su salud. Realiza un exámen preventivo de salud obligatorio a todos los estudiantes de la U.B.A. En sus instalaciones, la Facultad de Psicología tiene a su cargo la evaluación psicológica preventiva. Es necesario promover, diseñar y desarrollar investigaciones epidemiológicas considerando, para sus hipótesis de trabajo, los datos confiables de las ya realizadas en la Dirección de Salud de la U.B.A. y en la Facultad de Psicología y los datos obtenidos en la evaluación psicológica preventiva obligatoria que se realiza. Sus resultados aportarán datos relevantes indicadores del impacto de las variables socioculturales y ambientales en la subjetividad de los estudiantes y facilitarán la gestión de acciones de extensión inherentes a la Responsabilidad Social de la U.B.A. Palabras clave Responsabilidad social Estudiantes Salud ABSTRACT UNIVERSITY’S SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH’S STUDENTS ABSTRACT By means of the present work, we try to articulate UBA’s social funtcion with the preventive psychological test students of the institution are taking, which facili-tates the early detection of risk factors. Besides its educating funtion, the UBA has a social function. It studies social, political and ideological issues scientifically, implementing action proposals aimed at them through the University Extension program. The Department of Health and SocialAssistance has the mission of leading with integrity the sanitary actions in the universitary media, with a view to im-proving its health. It is carrying out a compulsory preventive health test for every sutent of the UBA. The Faculty of Psychology has the responsability of making this preven-tive test at its premises. It is ecessary to promote, desing and develop epidemiological investigations, taking into account for the study’s hyptheses the reliable results of the investiga-tions made by the UBA’s Department Of Health and by the Faculty of Psychol-ogy, and the data obtained from the compulsory preventive psychological test being carried out.
