La inversa sería: ¿Es traumático el goce? y así completar una indagación que persiguiera saber que hay de uno en el otro, o si acaso son dos conceptos que se vinculan pero nunca se identifican. Lust, placer para Freud (2008a), es el estado de ligazón de energía tendiente a la descarga, lo que efectivamente provoca satisfacción. El trauma, en su definición supone una «falta» de ligazón lo que nos hace suponer que difícilmente hallemos placer en él. Que el agujero-trauma sea Real no nos permite aún decir si hay goce en el trauma, pero anticipamos la hipótesis de que puede ser el trauma aquello que inaugure el goce No existe una Verdad sobre lo real, del mismo modo que no hay Verdad sobre el trauma.
