En este trabajo nos interesa repensar el problema de la construcción social e individual de la identidad. Se presentan diferentes posiciones teóricas respecto a la tensión discursiva que se manifiesta entre la dimensión individual y la social de la identidad. A su vez se presenta la necesidad de establecer una relación entre este concepto y las representaciones que estudiantes universitarios de la carrera de Psicología tienen sobre su experiencia de formación. It presents different theoretical positions with respect to the discursive tension that occurs between the individual and the dimension of the social identity. At the same time the need arises to establish a relationship between this concept and the representations that university students of the Psychology program have on their training experience.
