El escrito surge del análisis de información de entrevistas a docentes de tres escuelas medias públicas de tres localidades al norte de Rosario como parte de la investigación “La violencia entre pares: influencia de las relaciones entre docentes y familias de alumnos de escuelas de educación media”. Este estudio es cualitativo y la población, alumnos, familias y educadores. Se realizaron entrevistas semi-estructuradas a profesores, observaciones participantes de clases, plenarias, reuniones de padres, recreos y se coordinaron grupos focales con alumnos de segundo año. El objetivo del estudio es analizar cómo influyen las relaciones docentes-familias sobre la violencia entre alumnos; el del artículo, analizar la categoría violencia respecto de la visión de los agentes escolares de la convivencia entre estudiantes. Se comprueba la violencia es social y un escenario posible es la escuela, pero el modo de abordaje influye en su acrecentamiento o su merma y en sus características: entre pares, de docentes hacia alumnos y viceversa; en la escuela o en sus alrededores; simbólica o física. El modo de tratamiento del fenómeno depende de: la empatía agentes escolares- estudiantes, las reglas de convivencia escolar, las sanciones y su aplicabilidad, las explicaciones del problema, las relaciones con familiares de los jóvenes. Palabras Clave Violencia Estrategias institucionales Escuela Abstract “VIOLENCE AND INSTITUTIONAL STRATEGIES IN THREE AVERAGE PUBLIC SCHOOLS.AN ANALYSIS OF CASES” The article is based on the analysis of information gotten in interviews to teachers, tutors, monitors and head teachers of three average public schools from three localities to the north of Rosario as part of the investigation “The violence between couples: influence of the relationships between teachers and high school students’ families”. This study is qualitative and the population, students, their families and educators. Teachers were consulted on semistructured interviews. Participant observances of classes, teachers´ meetings, parents meetings were realized. Focal groups with second course students were coordinated. The aim of the investigation is describing and interpreting the way relationships teachers – high school students´ families influence on the violence between pairs. The article´s objective is analyzing the way the category violence is included on the school agents´ the vision about the social relations between students. The violence is social and a possible scene is the school,but the way it´s treated influences its increase or reducing and its characteristics: between couples, of teachers towards students and students towards teachers; in the school or nearby; symbolic or physical. The way of treatment of the phenomenon depends on: the empathy teachers-students, the school´s rules, the problem´s explanations, the relationships with students´ families.
