El proceso de construcción de la consigna para la actividad que evaluará las habilidades argumentativas en alumnos universitarios ingresantes a la UBA, ha sufrido cambios a partir del análisis de las producciones discursivas escritas de los sujetos participantes en las pruebas pilotos. Desde la primera consigna : ““Exprese su punto de vista justificando su posición” hasta alcanzar los siguientes pasos: 1) Invitación a colaborar con la investigación; 2) Firma del formulario de consentimiento; 3) Presentación de la tarea a realizar; 4) Entrega del texto (opinión o académico) para su lectura; 5) Marcar con una cruz si el autor está a favor o en contra del tema tratado; 6) Consigna: “Expresa tu posición respecto de lo que enuncia X (autor) acerca de Z (tema), dando las razones que consideres pertinentes para defender tu punto de vista” y 7) Pregunta de contra-argumentación: ¿Las razones que diste son a favor o en contra de la posición del autor? . Si las razones fueron a favor se le pide que dé razones en contra, y si las razones fueron en contra, se le pide que dé razones a favor del punto de vista del autor.
