La dimensión de alteridad complejiza la lectura del ser. La pregunta por la mismidad cuanto menos, incluye la noción del otro. En este sentido, este trabajo intenta recorrer algunas nociones sobre el otro en el pensamiento de Jean Paul Sartre y Maurice Merleau-Ponty. Para el primero, la mirada del otro cosifica la existencia del mirado, la objetiva y convierte al sujeto en un ser-en-sí petrificado. Sentirse mirado es sentir la absurdidad de la existencia, es dejar de ser dueño de la situación. Pero, ¿Cómo es posible justificar la existencia de otro si su subjetividad escapa a la mirada objetivante? Por su parte, Merleau-Ponty explora la idea del Ser-Visto desde una dialéctica de la encarnación. Por un lado propone el ser-visto y por otro, la correspondencia de intersubjetividad como intercorporeidad. De este modo, la dialéctica en el encuentro deviene a la vez, dialéctica de lo visible (intercorporeidad) y de lo invisible (intersubjetividad). Reflexionando en las vicisitudes del encuentro entre dos cuerpos, se podría pensar que ya no es un yo y un otro los que allí se presentan. Hay algo que los excede, es un nosotros como algo nuevo que se instaura. The question about the sameness at least, includes the notion of the other. In this sense, this paper intends to go trough a few notions about the other in Jean Paul Sartre and Maurice Merleau-Ponty’s thoughts. For he first of them, the other’s sight reifies the regarded existence, objectivies and converts the subject in a being-in-itself petrified. Feeling looked is to feel the existence absurdity, is to stop being the owner of the situation. But, how is it posible to justify the other if its subjectivity escapes of the objectifying view? Meanwhile, Maerleau-Ponty explores the idea of the regarded from a dialectic of the incarnation. On one hand propose the being pithy and on the other, the correspondence of intersubjectivity as intercorporealty. Thereby, the dialectic in the encounter becomes at the same time, dialectic of the visible (intercorporealty) and of the invisible (intersubjectivity). Reflecting on the vicisitudes of the encounter between two corpus, could be thought that is not any more a me and an other the ones that there are.
