Se considera la escritura de Marguerite Duras como un tratamiento del dolor de existir melancólico por lo real de la letra en el que se introduce la función de lo imposible a través del recurso al inconsciente real, silenciando la voz del superyó, así como una escritura del íntimo anudamiento entre el goce femenino y lo real del amor.
